چکیده

Abstract Photovoltaic (PV) roof‐top systems in real‐time environments are highly susceptible to the commonly occurring scenario of partial shading that occurs due unavoidable conditions such as shadow buildings and trees. The occurrence creates a serious mismatch among modules PV arrays results severe unexpected power losses arrays. conventional hybrid configurations used for loss mitigation sometimes unreliable incapable generating higher during shading. Hence, this paper focuses on development simple effective technique reliable operation reduction is applicable arbitrary array sizes having no dynamic parts requires switches sensors implementation enhance performance system. reliability have been investigated under MATLAB simulation scenarios by comparing it with various investigation reveals output proposed an average conversion efficiency than 90% enhancement 19.07% other configurations.

Optimal Reconfiguration of Solar Photovoltaic Arrays Using a Fast Parallelized Particle Swarm Optimization in Confront of Partial Shading

Partial shading reduces the power output of solar modules, generates several peak points in P-V and I-V curves and shortens the expected life cycle of inverters and solar panels. Electrical array reconfiguration of PV arrays that is based on changing the electrical connections with switching devices, can be used as a practical solution to prevent such problems. Valuable studies have been perfor...

Modeling and simulation of photovoltaic (PV) system during partial shading based on a two-diode model

This paper proposes accurate partial shading modeling of photovoltaic (PV) system. The main contribution of this work is the utilization of the two-diode model to represent the PV cell. This model requires only four parameters and known to have better accuracy at low irradiance level, allowing for more accurate prediction of PV system performance during partial shading condition. The proposed m...

An Improved Photovoltaic Array Configuration for Photovoltaic System in the Presence of Maximum Power Point Tracking during Partial Shading Condition

Power-Voltage (P-V) curve and Current-Voltage (I-V) curve determine the performance of the PV system. In this work, the arrangements of the PV module were reconstructed by adding the number of PV module in 3 strings configuration from 5 to 45. This method enhance the performance of the PV system as it able to show the characteristic of the P-V and I-V curve during partial shading and maximum ir...

New Strategy of Grid Connected Photovoltaic System Using Module Integrated Converters with B4 Inverter to Overcome Partial Shading Effect

This paper proposes a new configuration for solar energy conversion systems. One challenging issue of the photovoltaic (PV) systems is partial shading, and in this paper Module Integrated Converters (MIC) are used to overcome this problem in PV arrays. A few boost converters are employed as MICs to mitigate the shading effect. Furthermore, to reduce the cost and to increase the system performan...
